Within any moderator discussion, I am usually the guy speaking out for the forum users, for non-censorship and letting the forum users communicate how they want. I dont think all of the recent posts about ddog were breaking forum rules but they are just so damn disgusting.
On a personal level, that crap is xtremely gross and bothers me. But as a moderator I would like us to have as open a forum as we can. The problem with the BASE Zone is that it has largely become a Tom Aiello popularity contest as he deletes and manipulates post to his liking in a way that abuses his moderator position (he said it himself). I would like the BASE board to stay a place where BASE jumpers can come and communicate to each other how they want.
Obviously some people have opinions on this matter of ddog. (respecting freedom of speech) Perhaps you can make your comments about ddog (without calling him names) and not post all the links and descriptions and gross crap. I don’t think all that kind of crap has a place on a BASE forum.
That way we can maintain our freedom of speech here, without it turning into a cesspool of filth thanks to ddog. Seriously, thanks to ddog and the fact that he loves to post online about his moral depravity, Im discussing this crap in the moderators forum.
So I say make your post, say what you want (yes apparently ddog was into some disgusting, ill behavior and he did post it all over the internet, and it is xtremely gross to me so please dont post any more links to these disgusting
websites or say really gross stuff, please man.
