I'm posting with a new account so I'm not accused of being a Doug supporter or a Doug detractor and then have the regulars on my case for my post.
The facts are, I see that "Fausty" signed up for that account on that sickening cesspool May of 2004, this was well before he was arrested and all the $hit hit the fan as it has. If this account had been signed up for last week over there I would be wondering, but it's almost a year old already and has 190 posts connected to that author, it says so there, okay? It also says he was banned, okay? It's only because of people probing and searching that this was found, and others telling what they know or found.
I went to read a bunch of these posts, many of them give out small details that lead right back to Doug with those who know him. Such as the off-hand mention of owning a $200,000 stallion, Golden Retrievers and doing horse jumping shows, his "location" field saying "Langley B.C", the photos showing his rather unique jewelry like the Hafada and Prince Albert.
If you take the time to read most of the posts made under that name they have Doug written all over them, the author is hiding behind the screen name but letting slip a few careless details over a year's time, the most damning of which are the photos showing his stallion Capone in a stall that is recognized, showing a portion of his face which has also been recognized by those who know him. The photo of his face is clearly cropped to hide as much as possible but just enough shows to identify it as Doug. In that photo he is drinking <I won't say what> from a champaign glass, not exactly what I would say one could be busted for. The rest of the photos show his Mastiff, Great Dane and his unique "jewelry" which if anyone here has gone to the "men's room" with him you no doubt have seen it because he was very proud of it as he was his ear rings and I suppose his nail polish, which by the way shows up in one of the photos over there if you look real close.
If you continue reading his posts there, you will find some have digital
video clips attached to them, but you can't access them unless you pay for an "elite" account, something I won't do just to check the clips to tell me what I already know who is in them.
I found the posts regarding the reasons why he is listed as "Banned" there, the moderators posted responses to him telling him he was breaking the rules, argumentative and other problems of that nature I won't go into, it deteriorated into quite a flame-fest. Doug's last fare-the-well post there basically told the moderators to shove it because he believed in free speech and wanted to say whatever he wanted to there about his childhood sexuality, he packed up his toys and left in a huff, even the attitude sounds like Doug too.
There is even a post on that forum that warns other members that might have had personal contact with him via emails or exchanged photos to be sure to wipe their hard drives in case the Feds trace things on Doug's computers back to them.
It seems a few people there knew him and were communicating with him off the board privately. One other post mentioned that he was called at the house by people from there I assume and didn't like that at all and seemed quite angry about it, so that alone tells me someone had his phone number no? phone number = name and address.
No Rhonda, 190 posts and the photos plus a lot more are not some "conspiracy" to defame someone through an elaborate plot, the man is already in jail almost certainly for the rest of his life, it doesn't matter what he did now, he is wiped out bankrupt, wife is gone, money is gone, animals are gone, he is finished and he brought it on himself that's a fact.
I am sorry if all this hurts your friendship and memories of him, but the facts have been coming out, he was a liar, a fraud, has harmed or hurt many people in different walks of his life, and now he is in a cell probably for life because he wanted to keep living the millionaire life he led stepping on other people to get there. Just read the newspaper articles about the lawsuits and other angry business partners. It's a tragedy all around for everyone, him, us, his wife, his kids, his animals, his friends, his business associates. His daughters will be taunted as the kids of a coke dealer and jail-daddy, that alone is a tragedy that will affect them in the worst way all their lives- the daddy they lost because of stupidity. And then Judy, good God what she must be going through in all of this.
But dammit all! DOUG was responsible for this, he alone caused his downfall and he may never get out of prison because of the lousy choices he made in his life himself, end of story, period, finito, the end.
