Anyone *can* BASE jump given the right attitude and training. Not everyone *should*, though. It's up to you whether you want to become a capable jumper or a Muppet.

If you go and jump when you are NOT ready, you get to cash out and go onto another reality/life/world.... DEAD!

But the real issue that I feel is totally overlooked, is those that do not cash out! Your family, your friends, and the instructor that was stupid enough to take you. He/she gets to live with blood on their hands for the rest of their life.

Ego and fame is not worth the risk of living in guilt! So Is till wonder why that simple fucking reality is hard for people to understand. This is common sense! If you do NOT have common sense you should NEVER EVER BASE jump.

Is the question Can you? or Can someone please hold my hand, pack for me, decide that the conditions are good for me, and then throw me off something hoping I make it without a broken bone so I can tell people I base jump?

You know the answer to your question.

I would take it seriously; but it's serious and ridiculous at the same time. -sl
