What sorta chute should I look at?

Hi I'm 17 I'm keen to get into BASE and I really need to know what i should get before hand that could help (dvd's, books, etc).
I'm 5'12"-6'0" and I weigh 60-65kgs. I really need to know what sort of chute/rig I should look at getting, and maybe articles, instructional dvd's or books I could get. I will probably be going for my skydiving license in about 1-2yrs time.

I need to know so I can start saving $ I won't look at jumping until i'm older and have learned enough. Cheers.

Have you looked at the BASE wiki on this site?

First I would concentrate on skydiving..... thats gonna take a lot of your money up to start with.
