Smith's self-demotion a step back for Bears (The Beacon News)

If Bears coach Lovie Smith craves a dangerous life, he ought to consider base jumping, bull riding or heli-skiing to fill all that downtime he finds himself with during an NFL season. Effectively demoting himself to defensive coordinator Tuesday is decidedly more dangerous than any of those endeavors.
