Airborne to be wild: paragliding in the Pyrenees (Independent)

I was at the top of a Pyrenean mountain with a parachute strapped to my back, which isn't the most relaxing position to be in. What on earth was I thinking of? I blame it on a morning spent in the spa – floating on my back in various soothing pools, with the waft of warm wood and eucalyptus emanating from nearby treatment rooms. The fumes must have gone to my head. Or maybe it was the view.
