Check out http://www.enviromission.com.au/. If these things catch on then eventually you'll be able to jump off a tower 1000m high and 300m across.

Plus it'll have a tremendous updraft up the middle of it. Does anybody know if you can fly a hang glider around inside a 300m tower? :-)
