Greetings BASE people!
First off, I'd like to give a big shout out to the man, the myth, the legend...CraterNate...for introducing me to the wonderful world of BASE. I don't think that I've ever formally thanked you for the magical day a few years back. I just can't comprehend living life today without scaring the crap out of myself at least once a week. It also pleases me to have such a heads-up BASE bud to flik with. The level of safety we constantly uphold in this sport is very reasurring to me, and I know, with both of us always on the job, it's only going to get safer.
I'd also like to recognize everyone on the BASE board who contributes such great information and technical help to keep this sport as safe as possible for all of us. I may not post much, but I definetly read and research all of those great tips and opinions. Please keep all that good stuff coming.
And now, to the point....
Myself and an associate of mine will be traveling to the beautiful state of New York very soon. Both of us live by the American Express card theory, and of course, will each be bringing along 245 sq ft of ripstop.
Driving from N.E. Ohio to Upstate NY will be a pretty long time to spend in a car, so we're planning to get out and stretch the legs AND the lines in a few places here or there...weather permitting. Anyone along the way interested in joining us?...or know of any nice objects tucked away in your small town? We're not above taking a detour off the main road for a little altitude.
Also, we don't want to step on any toes, so if there are any concerns about objects to stay away from, please let me know and we will repspect that.
Thanks in advance to those who post, and please email me with any questions or concrens.
Peace,
}> Pyro }>
P.S. Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, joyous Kwanzaa, blissful Boxing Day, and whatever else you choose to celebrate to all!
