Vertigo is advertising "Legal BASE jumping course"
and "BASE gear rental" in Skydiving Magazine.
Are the cliffs in Moab a classroom?

take it from somebody who knows. as soon as someone gets hurt or killed and your advertising any kind of base instruction or courses and you do not have "ALL" the permits for running a commercial operation etc. you are "asking for it" and it will only be a matter of time. I was able to beat the rap of running a commercial operation but only after a five year ultra expensive court battle.

All the BASE gear manufactures have been arming our so called "soldiers of destruction" for quite a while now. Moab has been, is today, and will continue to be a classroom of sorts. There is no stopping that no matter what anybody does. Our best hope is the right attitude a lot of good luck.

Maybe you should talk to the folks at Vertigo before jumping to Whuffo style conclusions

The 1st jump course is held out of the state of Utah and Rentals are for experienced Base jumpers or Bridge day participants.

Moab is NOT for beginners !
Vertigo has been saying this from day one...
