Oregon BASE Boogie Update.....Slim hits 1000th

Well day 1 went off quiet nicely
32 Jumps made of multiple objects....(new as well as old)

Slim BUSTED his 1000th jump....CONGRATS

Little chat with the Park manager....nice chap...trying to understand the new sport of what we call ..."freefall paragliding" you see a guy has to have a little air speed to open these paragliders....."ok give me a call in a couple of weeks and I'll see if you need a permit...etc"

Little hectic on the sunset load what with dozens of familys awaiting the fireworks.....yet all oblivious to our smiles

No injuries
Plenty of hugs and huge smiles....
Plenty of gear opinions...
Plenty of "well in '63 I jumped this..." stories
New friends made, old ones rekindled
All objects remain intact
Ground crew and first pint as always on the house

Day 2...is already out of the chute...stay tuned
