Are there many jumping?

My buddies and I are very leary of going and jumping the local A right now... Due to the tragedies at the wtc. We worry that if we get caught now that we may end up in the local FBI office for questioning. How do the rest of you feel. Has everyone else resumed regular jumping?

I have a lot of reservations about jumping either one of our local A's. We've been jumping them both for years at night without too much trouble. Both are about 150+ yards away from a road which is has some traffic. There is several residential properties near the object. We've had perfect weather for people to be sitting outside on their patios, decks or whatever. I don't want to be climbing passed one of the lights and have someone look up and see a few figures on the A or hear the echoing sound of no slider canopies opening or flying threw the air. I know that is always a possibility but with "America on Alert" my gut tells me to lay off for a while. They will still be there tomorrow, Right?

We jumped one of our local A's tonight, but it is reasonably remote and we did go at night. It was really, really good to get out and jump again - a planned Tuesday trip to a just-opened A was of course scuttled earlier in the week.

We are going to be very careful about "urban" objects I think. Everyone is on edge in law enforcement and we don't need to add to their stress levels.

I am just glad we have a good object that is discrete enough to be jumped in today's environment.

Although I am deeply sadened by what has happened in our country I (we) cannot let it keep my (our) spirit down.I Made 2 yesterday with no problems and I can say that it really helped me get back to "normal". I suggest all of us get back to what we love to do...BASE. It is however going to a bit more difficult to get any more "B"s.

It depends on what the antenna is (who owns it), IMHO. If it's a major network TV antenna, or a federal installation, I (personally) would lay off for a bit longer, but then again I have the option of jumping a number of lower-key objects in my area without worrying about being confused with a terrorist.

I needed to get back in the saddle also so last night I did a "B" and it was SWEET. Thankx to my ground crew and jumping partner, we both had smiles and high fives at 10:30 last night. This object however is rather unique....and we'll leave it at that. Thanks esp. to Rigger Mortis, c-ya Tuesday.
