I was just flipping through my electronic industrys magazine and I find this add heading

RISK. great for thrill seekers not for business

onder which I see a picture of a BASE jumper leaping off a cliff, looks to be angel falls.red and whit jumpsuit w/ red red racer container.

Where else have you seen BASE jumping in advertisements, besides Mt DEW ?

    Energizer.

Also, a couple of years ago there was an ad for some insurance company I think with a guy snowboarding off what looked like one of the peaks at Moraine Lake (Valley of the Ten Peaks). I might have the location wrong.

There was a Pepsi add a couple of years back. The soundtrack was a hard version of 'thank heaven for little girls' - sounded like the Offspring but probably wasn't. (anyone know who it was?)

There were lots of short clips of chicks doing rad stuff - snowboarding, windsurfing etc, I can't remember exactly plus an antenna BASE jump.

There's a copy of Mountain Dew's "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" ad at:

    http://www.advertisementave.com/tv/ad.asp?adid=132

I think this is the one you're referring to.

Also seen Alpha Telecom (http://www.alphatelecom.co.uk /.com) use Blue Sky's The Cliff Jump (http://www.bluesky.se/ref_cliffjump.html) in adverts on the Tube and on TV.

Right Guard Xtreme Sport have used BASE as an advertorial in UK . Also a camera manufacturer used a series of BASE pics to show the speed of their new camera (I can't remember the manufacturer).

Dont look much like a jump to me...looks like his feet are stuck to the rail!!!

Good to see the sport of rail hanging being pushed to the max though!!

Must be pretty safe too...no pads or a helmet...like the add says "NO SWEAT!"}>
