It depends on which road you take. I believe, if you go through the mountains, through Stanley, you will have many stops. It is a good 2 day drive to Montana, period. I can't exactly tell ya how far to Missoula from there. Sorry about that. The weather is pretty nice around the 4th. It doesn't rain too much, and for that matter, not much rain. HOT for sure. If you want to make a water landing, it would be a good time to do that. If you have more questions about Twin, email me at beary010@hotmail.com OR just post it.

I think it's about 7 or 8 hours from Butte to Twin Falls, so from Missoula it shouldn't be more than 9 hours going down I-15.

There's not much in between to jump, but that depends how bad you want it. I've checked out a small s and an underhung 300-foot e, but haven't jumped either one... Yet.

    oneLnotits,

There's a small E right off the road near Salmon in Idaho. Probably the one you're talking about - ya jump over power the lines - sheer, not underhung...

    It's easy and convenient...

Sounds like we're talking about different objects. The e I'm referring to is definitely in Montana. I never know exactly where it is until I drive past it. Access is very difficult, although the location is convenient. It looks like a stiff/technical scramble up the back, but there definitely seems to be an exit point at the top. It's hard to tell if it's sheer or slightly underhung because of the rock sits in a bit of a corner, and there's a small belly at the bottom. I think the only way to know for sure will be to look from the top.
