Questions about Perrine

First off is any one going to be there On March. 5 I'm thinking of going there to make a couple of jumps before heading to Moab for the Tombstone Challange. (to judge, not compete) If not can someone give the phone numbers to call.

Next what is Perrine like this time of year? Does the river freeze over? I can handle the cold, but is it worth the trip. I would like to get current there so when I go to Moab I won't just be a spectator this year

I get through here fairly often. Im not saying its florida or anything, but its pretty tolerable; the river never freezes over, Ice coats the cliffs, couple of inches of snow covers the ground typically, You can still walk out without much problem; youd probably want boots instead of lighter shoes-despite the ice on the waterfalls water still flows across the path in a couple of places. Temperature seems to run between 28 and 45 usually when I get through. Wind can clip along really good, or be completely absent, but has been coming out of the east last couple of times through. Completely jumpable, but the bridge will have gravel, sand, and salt coating the sidewalk and rail. Locals think your even crazier for jumping during the winter. Anyway. enjoy. cya at tombstone.

About the locals thinking you are crazy for jumping. YES!!! We definatly think you are crazy. It is freezing cold. A lot of people think there is an off season. But what they don't know is that you guys are diehards.I wish I could be there to watch you jump. Too bad I am in Fl. As time gets closer I can keep you guys posted on the weatherm, if you would like.

Was there last weekend and Sunday was quite tolerable. The wind shut us down on Monday. The boot comment is a great one. Just don't lick the rail.:7

I am glad to be here, in FL., but I want to watch you guys jump in March. That's why I said that. I am having a great time here, I love it. In fact I am going to make my first skydive here. But still I want to watch ya'll jump. Is this making any sense?

lucky where are you going to jump i am at z hills where are you at i will not be back at perrine until th mem day weekend then i will be there jumping 5 days if you havent already locked on to a place to make your 1st jump look me up at z hills and lets see if we cant get you hooked up for a fun jump and get your muff bro number at the same time till later have fun & love each other seeya mb65 johnny gates
