Now that the Weston Plaza is gone, sniff,
where do folks stay in Twin Falls now?
I know the Ameritel has rooms with jacuzis,
but it's sort of expensive.
There's a couple hotels close to the bridge.
What's their names?
Are they pricey?
Zzzzzzz.......

ameritel is only like one mile from the bridge and has a Base rate. I think that it is 79$ for a two queen bed room. They have a 24 hour hot tub and let you pack in the conference room if it isn't being used. There is a link there on this site.
Plus tax then it is over $80. If you make 4 jumps a day that's $20/jump plus $5 boat ride equals $25 per jump. Two in a room could reduce it to $15 per jump.
There must be a cheaper way to do it beside living in a tent or the back of your car.
I just reserved my room for early March at the Comfort Inn (208-734-7494). I believe it's the closest hotel to the bridge - on the right hand side just after you cross coming from the North. My room rate is about $53 per night (two queens). They also let you pack in the hallway.
Cheers,
Matt
talk to the mgrs. @ the Shiloh Inn and see if they have any specials going since it's off-season. The folks there are BASE friendly, allow packing in conference room and they also have an indoor pool, hottub and sauna. I won't comment on the rates because I haven't called, but I suspect you could get in there for +/-55-60/night (perhaps even less if you're a smooth talker). Call the hotel in twin falls directly. Don't deal with the national reservation folks as they have zero clue about BASE and the twin falls shiloh inn, specifically.
y'all have fun!

Yes but there hot tub does not ever work. The Ameritel Inn has a very HOT hottub, the best CONT breakfast I have ever seen!!!!
So, if you shared with 2 people, you are looking at $5-$10 per person for breakfast. That is $10 -$20 extra.
So Ameritel is actually $7-$15 more per night, divide by 2 people, is $3-$7 for a HOTTUB.
There are some fields a couple miles from the bridge where you can sleep under the stars.
