POLL for video cams for BASE

I will be in the market for a BASE video cam shortly and I thought it might be a good idea to post a poll on what video cams are being used by readers. Unfortunately I don't know a whole lot about the cameras cameras available other than what I read about in specific posts.

I thought if someone out there is familiar with most of the different cameras maybe they could make up a poll listing Sony 110, PC5, JVC, whatever brand or model is in use and see what people are actually using. They could add comments at the bottom about how they like their choice, or what drawbacks it has. :7

I'm not a big camera guy either, so I won't try to post the poll.

But, if someone does, they should definitely add the Sony IP5.

After checking one of them out, I'm definitely planning on an upgrade to that camera. It's incredibly tiny and light.

Unfortunately, I've heard that the video quality on the new Sony MVs sucks. I guess it depends how much video quality one wants to trade for weight.

Just ordered a remote cam that will use the AV-in of my PC110.

With the standard 2m of cable and such a tiny unit the cam could be mounted anywhere (almost!).

There are various lenses available, PAL and NTSC, and 480TV lines should make for very watchable quality.

Does anyone use one already?
