Myself and a close friend are in the States for two weeks at the beginning of June. We are doing the CR FJC the first weekend.
I was wondering if there was any one in the California area (we were looking to basing ourselves at Perris after the course but this is open to change) that would perhaps be kind enough to meet up with us and help build on the knowledge from the course.

Please don’t get me wrong – I am not asking for people to take a couple of newbies out jumping – I don’t want you to think that just cause we have done the course we will be thinking we can go out and do anything – I know this is not the case!!! - I would just like to spend some time with experienced jumpers perhaps just sitting around a DZ building upon knowledge and using the trip in the most beneficial way possible.

I'm guessing the FJC will take you to Twin Falls Idaho to jump the Perrine bridge. I would recomend staying there for your last week. Although I've never been there, this is gonna be the best place for you to continue jumping and to meat other jumpers. There will definetely be people jumping there all summer and it's the only legal location in the US (except short cliffs in Utah - not recomended, and pretty darn hot that time of year).

Did the CR course last year, learned a lot, had a great time! We stuck around Twin Falls for another week and jumped some more. Also we met some very experienced jumpers who helped us as well.I will be there(Perrine) the first week in june also. mcurtis@nb.sympatico.ca

I have it on good authority (mine) that the locals already got well "meated" when we visited T.F. in october. There's still a little left though. Don't be surprised if it doesn't touch the sides.

So flights are now booked and the plan is to Stay at Twin Falls for the 2 weeks.

If anyone is around Twin Falls from the 1 June to the 14 June I would appreciate hooking up and progressing the knowledge from the course.
