Well at last I have broken my virginity and completed the FJC and got some nice jumps done at Twin Falls!! What a sport this is!!

Thanks to all on my journey – its been long but way worth it!!!

Although I have returned home to an upset mother and my girlfriend dumping me because of BASE the trip was worth it!! Still I feel kind of pushed out because I have chosen to do this – why do girlfriends not understand?!?!?…….. that bit really sucks!!!

Thanks to Bert and Don – you guys are way cool!!!

Thanks to the other jumpers met and for doing some nice jumps – awesome!

you can now say to your next girlfriend(s), "Honey, I was a BASE jumper when you met me, and I'll be a BASE jumper when you're gone!"

Worried mothers go with the territory; the only thing you can do with them is to reassure. The obligation that goes along with the reassurance is for you not to do stupid stuff. Take your time and pay attention to every detail.

Congrats on the FJC. Sorry about the g/f.

I just wanted to thank you for having the courage to let your family know about your BASE jumping. It's always difficult to do that, but if we are all as responsible as you, we can help minimize upset families, recriminations, and accusations in the future.

i learned this a long time ago. chick don't want to fu(k crazy guys. what they perceive to be crazy at least.

when i introduce myself, i use the word parachuting instead of base jumping. chicks dig skydivers but not base jumpers, so ride the coat tails of coolness that skydivers have built around themselves in our society. don't get me wrong, i think many skydivers are about as cool as Orville Redenbacher.

Here in Europe chicks LOVE to fu(k BASE jumpers!!
I have found that most of them seem to think its the coolest ##### theyve ever seen and cant wait to get their kaks off ;-)
