If you are true to your word you will never see this post. BUT--
I think all anyone asks here in reality is that you pull your head out long enough to realize that this sport is not just about you. The way you BASEjump particularly in this day and age is a [bad] reflection on all of us. Why do you take offense when experienced jumpers (or anyone, for that matter) offers you advice to make you a better, safer jumper? No-one is saying you can't take that info and go make solos, or whatever, but at the same time, no-one wants their objects burned when you go in. No-one wants their sport marred by yet another death this year or in any future years...Have you stopped to consider what impact (no pun intended) the things you do has on others? If you do read this, please think about it. If you go in it will be the biggest "I told you so" in BASE history. We can prevent this with a little bit of effort to learn on your part.

Thomas, I hate to point out the obvious but you'll never get decent video jumping solo. Get some ground crew and send me a tape.

Don't die, don't burn anything. Most of all - Don't do drugs and jump. The wind will blow all the pepsi off of the back of your hand before you can schnooze it. Jump THEN do the drugs.

Try talking to Spence. He sounds like he's got the mix of crazy nuts and good humor about right even if the Idaho bridge sluts don't like him. I've re-read his post and I'm still not sure what he did. Kewl!

I do way to much drugs to ever be sober enough to consider a BASE jump. but I enjoy watching the drama on this laugh board. I watch certain people who sign their names, and other people who for some reason are to afraid to post their names.
I get a laugh of all the anonymous threats. I thought BASE jumpers were supposedly some tight knit group, where everyone helped everyone, and people cared for the good of other jumpers, rather than their self pride and opinion.
I watched this Tokemon guy get slammed, threatened, and upset. And then I see him sign off, saying bye to y' all. and I agree with his reasons.
AND I AM LAUGHING MY ARSE OFF at how fast the threats and blame switched from him, to a few days later crucifying this Spencer guy, of course again anonymously.
What did these people do that is so wrong? have they already burned your precious sites? if so, I would love to help tar and feather them. and if not, I ask you anonymous posters, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM with them. I have read several deaths this year, that are all accidents. and the AWTH post states that Tokemon's death will be laughed at by all.
You pukes are sick, and I am glad I don't have the courage that some of you jumpers have. I'll stick to rock climbing, and may even help you jumpers with locations of some of my favorties cliffs. of course, only if you don't threaten me also. cause if you punch me in the face, you might get squirted with my "trippin' " squirt gun, and then you will have some personal reflection time on what you have done. depending how many shots I can hit you with, maybe even a good full week of vivid hallucinations, and mind warps.
