looking all sorts of sugestions on how to prepair my rig (have two pin performance variable and mojo 220) for a baloon jump out of appr. 2500m and opening on around 300 m or lover, does anyone have anything to say ....

im also troubled about the speed, did anyone had experiance that the bridle would pull out the pins becouse of the air speed taking it out but live the PC in pocket (hope u know what i mean)

    secondly
im going to Spain (Barcelona and Valencia) in March, anyone gonna be there, or knows someone that had done any nice jumps ...

why dive if u can BASEdive

I'm not familiar with the Performance Variable rig. Where is it made? I did see a German BASE rig last summer that had mini-risers with a grommet through them (non-integrity). If you have one of those, my suggestion would be to replace your risers before making another deployment on the system.

I'd go with a standard terminal BASE pack job. I'd use a mesh slider and, 36" F-111 PC (or 32" ZP PC). You could also use a sail slider for a pull at that altitude, with no problems (if you wanted a softer opening).

With a purpose built BASE rig, I doubt this will be much of a problem. How is the bridle routed on your rig? Is it tucked in, or protected at all?

Regardless, I understand that BR did some tests trying to extract the pins from a Vertex by bridle flap (with the bridle not tucked, but the pin cover flap closed) and were unable to extract them. I believe the tests involved jumping from an airplane, with the bridle hand held, so I doubt the balloon jump, with a stowed PC, will give you any problems at all.

    Heyy u punk !

You should come to Hungary now not to bloody warm Spain !
We made a low building here, but the big antenna is guarded now so it is risky now.

Go with a sail slider for a balloon jump but dont go too low. Do you have a sail ? I didnt give you...
Better if you dont go headdown.

Dont you go to Vrsar in Feb or March ?
They will organize boogies, I am thinking of going there soon. Not for Base yet, but who knows..
