canopy crack

yesterday i went for a jump whith a freind,my gf went as GC(which she has done serval times now).She noticed that my freinds canopy made a bigger crack(opening sound) than mine.. i started wondering why.heres the details on our setups:

Freind:
Vertex open pinflap,fox 240 vtec multi 46zp av pc went 0,5 sec handheld. he weigh 80kg nude. His canopy has aprox 100jumps more than mine.

Me:
Vertex closed pinflap,fox265 vtec multi 5th line mod,42´zp av pc went 2,5sec handheld.I weigh 80kg nude.

So why would his canopy make more noise than mine?Is it becours there were a bigger high from him to earth than me?

Or should my GF go see a doc to get her ears cheked?:+

I normaly dont jump much whith others so its limited how much i have heard from other canopyes.

There are several theories about crack and canopies. In order to define the specific details of your girlfriend's experience, more information is needed. Who jumped first? Was she wearing black or white socks? How much crack was she on? What color are the canopies? It is well known that certain color nylon has a greater effect on sound molecules than others. What was your altitude above MSL? What kind of beer were you drinking? Does your girlfriend have a secret crush on your jumping friend? What are your different packing methods? Was she facing east or west? Could you see the Big Dipper? All these things make a difference.

he jumped first,she had whith socks on,i dunno how much crac she were on,but she is a female so i guess not much,his canopy looks femenin,mine is in good stealth collurs,ill find the msl another day.I always drink Tuborg/Cralsberg as my gf works there=freebeer
:P,if my gf and my jumping freind has somthing together then he has a small #### i cant feel the difference;-) she looked up,from were we jumped,english aint my best so i dunno what a Big Dipper is:+

Put the pipe down. Crack is bad, with or without a canopy. How many days were you up? Spend more money on jumping and less on the rock.
