WHOA!! HEY!! LOOK AT THAT! MY NAME AND THIS THREAD BACK UP ON TOP OF THE LIST AGAIN! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?

No Tom. Bad Monkey! That would be way too much packing and therefore not be very retarded. Doing it that way would have to be called a SMART or a NERD or something but not a TARD.

Hey Spence...or anyone out there.

At the Royal Gorge Event, I did one of those hanging parachute jumps. Wondering if anyone has done the following:
Parachute hanging below the exit.
Nose facing the opposite direction as the jumper.
Jumper launches forward, but without a rotation.
Jumper assumes a tracking position and holds this throughout the jump.
Jumper never rotates, but canopy does.
Jumper now has induced riser twist.

It was fun, but scary....and evil}(

Wonder if Jeb's tried one...

Paragliding is for pussies, that's why I'm a professional at it.
BASE Jumping is for mindless idiots, that's why I enjoy it so much.

Rollovers are definately not paraglider launches. I've done a few thousand PG launches and they've all taken a fair bit more skill than any of the roll overs I've done. But having said that any roll over I've done is way more fun than launching a PG. Pure mindless fun.

The technical name for this maneuver is the McJJ.
