    Thrill Seekers Documentary

I am in the final year of a BSC degree in Media Production with Business and for my final project I have been asked to produce a ½hour TV documentary. I have chosen the subject of Thrill Seekers and I would very much like the opportunity to do an interview with a keen base jumper.

I’m also looking for copyright free footage of base jumping that i would be able to use within my documentary. Any footage would be used for educational purposes only and not be sold on or used for profit.

If you would be willing to spare 1/2 an hour of your time to do an interview or have any footage I could use, it would be a great help and I would be most grateful.

Please get in touch if you think you could help

Honestly, I'm not seeking thrills in my BASE jumping any more.

Maybe if it was a "personal growth and spiritual awareness" program...

I agree with Tom. I don't BASE jump because I seek thrills. I BASE jump because it sets me free, and in the process I overcome fears that I've struggled with my whole life. It is certainly a path of personal and spiritual growth, an opportunity to be in touch with the natural world, and a time to feel an ovewhelming sense of accomplishment and joy.

Thrill seekers? Maybe to an outsider's point of view...

I'm sure you'll find someone that fits the description among our ranks. Good luck!

    Peace,

I'd be happy to hand over the countless hours of BASE footage I've got in my library. Forget about the years of training, the thousands of dollars in camera equipment and BASE gear, or the risks that BASE cameramen take in just getting their equipment to the exit point, let alone jumping a 10 lb camera helmet slider off......

Sure, you can have all my footage for free. I'll even pay shipping! Feel free to email me at: yeahright@nobudget.com

Seriously, dude, maybe you'd have better luck interviewing a BASE jumper and then filming your own stuff by following him around on a few jumps. I've done this for college dudes like yourself in the past.

I'll be happy to let you shadow me on a thrill seeking expedition.

Just get 2 tickets to King's Island and we'll go ride Son of Beast. I'm pretty hardcore so I can narrate during the ride (except during the loop - it easily overpowers the sphincter if you get too cocky).

    Cheers,

The first ice cream's on us.

Hey mister thrill seeker, you could get the whole thing done for about $150! And you can be the star! Drive down to the nearest drop-zone and go for a tandem skydive and get video.
    I suggest Lodi.

This depends entirely on what you mean by "most grateful".

If it is "most grateful" in a "beer and a handshake" kind of way, I doubt you'll find any takers.

If it is "most grateful" in an "I have an extra lifetime pass to every New Years Eve party at the Playboy Mansion" kind of way, I can ship footage overnight via Fed Ex.

I'll do it for $4500. That should pay for my trip to Norway this summer. Should cover beer for the duration too. Let me know if you're interested.

This young man lives in England. Any jumpers there willing to give him a hand and let him follow you for a local jump?
