Hi Jumper. My wife Joy and I have now received the BASE number lists from Jean Boenish and we are issuing the numbers for BASE, Night BASE, and El Cap. You need to send us a real letter listing your 4 qualifying objects and the dates and times of each, especially the last one. If your qualifying jump is less than 4 weeks old, we will wait until it is about that old and issue you a number. We wait just to make sure someone didn't beat you by a few days but is slower in getting the information to us.
We ask for a $10. donation (not mandatory), and a self addressed stamped envelope if all you want is a paper card and the number. If you want a plastic credit card sized official card, it is a required fee of $5.00.
Send the stuff to Rick and Joy Harrison
7316 Houston Drive
Hitchcock, TX. 77563
If your qualifying jump is over 4 weeks old when we get your info, we will send you your number within 2 to 3 days. GOOD LUCK
Rick Harrison
Night Base 13
Hello jumper. In case I didn't answer your message, to get an official BASE or Night BASE number from the USBASE Assoc. send us a self addressed stamped envelope to Rick or Joy Harrison at 7316 Houston Drive, Hitchcock, TX. 77563. We request a $10.00 donation for your number which we'll send with a neon colored paper card. If you want an official green plastic credit card sized card there is a mandatory $5.00 fee. I'm also willing to call you collect with your numbers if you'll send me the information. We need the information on your 4 qualifying jumps with the dates and times of each. Jump stories are always appreciated. If your qualifying jump is newer than 4 weeks old, we'll wait to make sure others who may have completed the 4 objects sooner can get their information to us. Take care and blue skies and soft walls.
Rick Harrison, BASE 38.
Hy, my name is Gui Pádua, I have 6.300 skydives, 80 BASE, and finished the last object, a building two years ago, but I didn't know what to do to get the BASE number.
My first BASEjump in 94 was on Bridge Day, have 20 from there now.
Jumped local's only in Deland,Fl many times with Marta, Mario, Mad Dog thrue the 5 years that I leaved there as a cameraman.
Then I jumped Angel Falls on october 12/98 with Marta Empinotty, nice two way 12 sec freefall.
and finished jumping a building in Rio de janeiro Brasil, on january 10 /1999, now I leave in this building so I can jump every day, from my window, I leave on the last flour, so is no problem.28 flours.240 feet.
I would like to tell you also, that now I host a TV show in Brasil, called Atmosphera, wich I only show BASE jump and Skydiving,100%.
I was talking to John Leblanc, from PD and also Bill Booth from RWorkshop, and they said that this is the first 100% skydiving TV show in the world.
I will take some of the shows to Bridge day this year, so you can see it.
Thank you .
Gui Padua.
Hello brotheren,
Name is Rob and I'm actually right at your back door in Asuncion, Paraguay (native New Yorker). Just a baby skydiver (70 jumps) and want to start to base as well. Could you advise on what I should do? Can a jump out your window sometime? LOL. Anyway, what's the station name for your skydiving tv station? Maybe I get it here and just don't know it.
Cheers Man,
Rob
Hello Gui. Sounds like you've jumped with some good folks like Marta. To get you number, send us a letter giving us the name of your first 4 BASE objects. I like to know the altitudes just for grins, and any jump stories you want. For your number, we ask for a DONATION of $10. It is not required and we will still send you a paper card with your number. If you want a plastic card with Carl Boenish's name embossed on it, it is a required $5.00 extra. I need you to send me the names and altitudes of all four qualifying jumps with a self addressed stamped envelope. Go ahead and send me your dates for our records even though you completed the cycle sometime back.
Our address is
