Call for discussion on a forum for discussion of tabu subjects

I know this has been brought up, but I wonder what the many obstacles
to doing it are. The forum I have in mind would be one where jumpers could excange information and discuss some sites that might be more sensitive to use than Perrine, Moab, European Walls etc. A forum to be restricted to verified jumpers only. Seems this would be
a bit of a pain for a moderator, but really shouldn't be too hard for someone like Tom A. and/or a couple of others who just about know everybody.

It would be sort of a private subsection, open only to jumpers who had made application and were verified by the moderator to be part of the community, not press, NPS or rats! It might
eventually become corrupt in that the password could always be "sold out" by some disgruntled person i guess, but it might be good to have if used with caution by the members.

How might it be organized so that it would be useful for contact and information exchange between users and not like the other forums?


Mick, can we have a public discussion about this? It seems that it is really a function that BLiNC could fill that DZ.com wouldn't (and probably shouldn't).

Thats the way it work in DK..
We do have a forum,but were under 20 in total,talking all jumpers out there.. woha.. i think it could be cool,but sorry dont think it will work:(

I would love to see opinions on this.
We have gone around about this for years.

In the new forum, I have even toyed with a new subscription model where any person, could have their own forum, and allow, or disallow who they want. But I am still looking into that. Not to mention, that if there is actual illegal activity that happend through organization on BLiNC, there may be legal ramifications that I face, even if I was not there, or on the jump. I allowed the organization to happen, and I facilitated that organization.

I agree. I love the idea but it needs to be underground, invitation only and password protected. At the first sign of a troll it would need to be shut down and moved.
