Parafoil for BASE?

Heya!

I'm looking for a canopy to use off a bridge over water (PCA/SL), and did a search here, but couldn't find any info on the Jalbert Parafoil.

1. How suited would this canopy be?
2. Any other 7-cell skydiving canopies that are ok for low base over water (except for Cruiselite, Raven and CRW canopies)?

The good news: The new forum app should eliminate the double posting problem.

The bad news: Using a skydiving canopy for BASE isn't good for your health.

How low is "low" and how deep is your water? I'd say that almost anything that gets to line stetch is going to slow you down enough to survive impact in deep water. Even if all you've got is bottom skin expansion, it's likely you're going to make a big splash and be ok.

Warning: Cross your legs and clench your butt if you hit fast. Bad, bad, bad things can happen otherwise.
