My name is Per "Flare" Eriksson and I'm jumping the Wingsuit. I'm from Sweden. This weekend I had a serius mal (twisted lines) and a rotating stilletto. I got 3,5 seconds under my reserv. It was close!!

I had problems pulling my reserve because on my suit it is quite big holes for the handles to slide in and out in if you are on your back and not are in an upright position.

Please beware of this and check your handles beore exiting and before you deploy your main. I do not see this as a big problem but I think that we should look in to this and see if we can make sure that the handles is exposed all the time.

If this problem is solved on the recent ones please tell me about the modification. Who is making this suit now is it still Mr. Zunino? I would like to get in touch with Mr. Zunino or the guy(s) that make the suit so we can make the suit even better!

I love the suit and what can I say, the guy's flying the birdman cry when I leave them in the dust :)

    Thanks!

Only reason birdman would cry was because you went in due to your wingsuit that allows such accident to happen.

See you this summer, I need some dust... :-)

Be carefull up there. Blue clouds

    Glad it worked out ok.
While it doesn't directly address the handle problem, you might consider jumping something other than a Stiletto, as there are few canopies out there that have worse openings for such an application. Sure they snivel, but is that really important at wingsuit speeds?

The Cobalt would be a good choice, and is relatively cheap compared to other high performance canopies. Disclaimer: I sell them, so you can't trust me ;-)

Josh is correct in your poor canopy choice, the designer of the cobalt has a great idea, with a line twist the canopy does not spiral.

It might be true but my canopy did not have a malfunktion on opening ... so I do not think I can blame the canopy in this case ;)

And it is true if we all jumped 7-cells in the size of tandem canopies we all would be much safer and we also would be having a boring life ...

    Hi Per,
I think the guys are missing your point here but nevertheless, some canopies do open better than others.

One recepie to avoid boring life ...

    - Open the corners of your rig
    - Get 100 inch (about 220 cm) bridle
    - 28' PC
(if you don't know where to get one contact me)
    - Get Velocity 75
    - and a Wingsuit

    Happy Dayz!
