    Hello

I'm getting ready to ben measured for my first suit (GTI) and was looking for any feedback on things to consider or adjust. I will be jumping my suit out of a plane year round (sub 30F in winter) in the beginning and hopefully BASE one day. I am getting Atomex body and I am about 6'3" 210lbs. Thanks for any input, I will also consult Jari of course.

I would recomend ordering the suit with a shoe size one to two sizes smaller than what you wear. And listing the hieght measurement 2 inches shorter than you are tall.
If the suit is too long it is tough to fly.
My suit and a friends suit were both ordered to fit our measurements and they are both baggy and too long on the bottom half. This results in a flapping leg wing.

I would recomend ordering a suit that fits you properly. A suit that is too small will be uncomfortable, and not fly well. Of course, if it is too big, it will be flappy, and not fly well. Do not order it 2 inches shorter, you will be sorry. As far as the idea of getting the shoe size smaller, that is not a good idea at all.If the booties are tight, they are difficult to kick off. Talk to the people at BirdMan, they can make the booties even a little big, for ease of putting them on, and kicking them off. The little bit bigger booties will not affect your flights. If you know how to measure your body properly, you will get a suit that fits properly.

Lose some weight. 210 is too much.

    Yo !

First, talk to Jari or Robert - that's the best source of info on measurements. Definitely don't order shorter or a smaller shoe size! In fact, it helps to have a fatter, slightly baggy suit - first, you'll be able to put warm closes on (a must for Norway or winter skydiving) but it also flies a bit better than a suit that's too tight.

I wouldn't get a tighter bootie size for any reason, especially on a GTi or Skyflyer, where it is already a pain in the ass to get your legs unzipped and get out of the booties. This, of course, is much more of a problem for people like me, Jari, and Vladi who all jump sub-100 mains with our suits.
