Looking for information on practicing techniques that will be used in WS BASE flights. How is the best way to 'simulate' a WS exit from an Antenna, also what other things to work on prior to first flight? Thanks in advance.
    Blair

Edited to add: Currently have just under 50 GTI flights from a plane in the last 12 months, 640+ total skydives, 134 BASE jumps, only about a dozen are to terminal. I have access to some nice high A's (1800'+) and want to work on exit techinque before strapping on the suit to give it a go off the tower. Thx.

Negative, had the opportunity to jump a helo at our DZ recently but was only taking jumpers to 5000', and I'm not comfortable deploying below 4500' with my skydivng rig on and the GTI.
Maybe Santa will buy me a balloon jump for Christmas, we don't get them at the DZ, but there are 2 guys who do whuffo tours in the area on balloons, I'll start there and see what I can get going, maybe cost prohibitive, but then again, the experience I'm sure would prove priceless.
Any other suggestions??? My Gargoyle will be here any day now, but I'm in no hurry to fly, I know it'll happen soon enough, I just want to take the extra time to prep as much as possible.
On the launch, could I practice by concisously leaving the A in a max track position with my arms, and counter with bringing my heels up a bit towards my butt, then leveling out and tracking through terminal acceleration and pull? I have developed a habit of really reaching out and 'grabbing' the air as I leave the tower for terminal jumps in order to stay flat, like giving someone a double 'high 5' sort-of?? Of course the wings would restrict this motion, so I want to practice how to get stable and start flying as soon as possible.
    Thanks for the reply,
    Blair

PS: Is there a spel chek on this biatch or wut????
