Canopy perf characteristics question

What do ya think about having a line-over and the canopy stills fly straight. The canopy has a collapse on one side and still flies straight, Line twist and the canopy still flies straight? What would be the pros and cons? Your input would be appreciated,

Sorry Pete, my fault that I wasn´t clearer in my question,I´ll try again.

I was/am trying to get feedback on the pros and cons of this possible characteristic.

Would you want a BASE canopy with this, or with out? And why.(today´s have it without)
This is basically an aerodynamic performance hypothetical question.
Not a situational question..
