My pre-newbie understanding of shallow brake settings was that DBS are too deep for slider up jumps, therefore shallow brake settings are as deep as possible given a slider up configuration.

There have been loads of discussions here about customising DBS (how you do it, why you do it) but I haven't seen any about customising shallow brake settings, why is that?

Shed some light on my dim grasp of this subject!
