Pardon me for butting in on an already stupid conversation, but with all this talk about Americans in Norway I just have to ask:
Wasn't there a certain NORWEGIAN dude who came over here (to AMERICA) a few years ago and very publicly jumped some of the famous skyscrapers in New York, thereby adding to the bad rap of BASE jumping in America? And since he was from Norway, can we safely assume that all Norwegians are like this? (forgive me if I have mistaken his nationality)
Ok, well actually I thought his jumps were pretty cool no matter what country he was from, and I applaud him for living his life to the fullest. But then I tend to try and keep my brain in my head rather than shoved up my a$$.
There are a lot of people in America, and trying to group them all in to one little stereotype is very small-minded. And small-minded thinking is a very dangerous thing. This is the same stupid kind of thinking that caused people to shoot convenience store clerks after the World Trade Center attacks. If that's how big your brain is, then go ahead and keep hating Americans. Until we rid the world of idiots with small minds, we'll just keep on living in the dark ages.
Peace :+
