Go to http://www.rogtraf.no/
Click on the Turistruten Lysefjorden brochure about half way down on the right hand border to get a PDF file containing the schedule.
Unlike the last few years, it looks like they're only making one trip to Lysebotn per day during the tourist season...

Been doing a bit of research on this myself recently. It's a bit of an arse as the boat isn't even running on the thursday before the heli boogie and we've had to hire an expensive vehicle!
Also have a look at http://www.kolumbus.no/admin/FileArc...ysefjorden.pdf
It appears there is a ferry from Stavanger at 13:40 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a change at Lauvvik. Alternatively there is a ferry everyday (Dx67?) from Lauvvik or one on Fridays and Sundays at 16:45.
I can't find Lauvvik (or Lauvik or Lauuvik) on my 2002 Autoroute, but there is a place called Høle opposite the mouth of the Lysefjord which has a ferry route to Forsand (listed as the next stop after Lauvvik on the above PDF) so I'm assuming it's the same. Autoroute gives Sola airport to Høle as 20 miles. I understand that this is a doable taxi journey (maybe bus into Stavanger first). Maybe some locals can shine more light on this.
I thought you had trouble climbing higher than 250 feet Mac?! What are you going to do in Norway?! :-) Should have come for the heli boogie! :-P
Anymore research you'd like me to do for you?! ;-)

He has :D He just need to exercise before i rock his world:P if he dont ill need to bring an extra rig so i can get 2 jumps each time he get one:7 i dont want to stay at the ground all day waiting on him(hope i dont get that lazy when i get THAT old :* )
Some info that might be useful...
The distance from the airport to Lauvvik is 37 km. If you want to take a taxi, and travel alone, you can save some money by first taking the bus to Sandnes. It's 28 km from Sandnes to Lauvvik. If you travel as a group it will be cheaper to take the taxi directly from the airport (as airport busses are more expencive than regular busses). If you spend a night in Stavanger, and plan to take a taxi to Lauvvik, you can take the bus/train to Sandnes first.

Note there will be no ferry on 07. june (Pinseaften), and that sunday routes are used 08. june (Pinsedag/Whit sunday) and 09. june (2. pinsedag/Whit monday).

If you go to this site, and enter "Lauvvik" as "stedsnavn", and "Sandnes" as "kommune", you will be directed to a map which tells you there Lauvvik is. Zoom out to get the overview.
