All right, all right, already. I'm not even going to try with excuses!!!! ;)

Time Line is as follows:

At the moment I am negotiating with a few bands r.e. music. Expect answer + agreement by Sept 11th. The music I had did not pack enough oooomph so I am buying rights to some really good stuff and have to negotiate the fee down a bit.

I am also chasing up USA and international copyright registration. This should be done in the next few days.

Sept 15th - Video Cover Printed and web site version 1 complete. I'll do some more work on the web site in the next few days and announce the address on the BASE board.
Sept 20th - Video off to copiers (NTSC and PAL copies).
Sept 27th - Shipping.

As for what is on the video!!! Dwain Weston is featured doing Aerobatics and Skysurfing. But to mix it up a bit we have the usual array of silliness from around the world:

- people getting shot (yes they asked for it).
- heaps of footage from Australia, USA, and Europe.
- low pull comps.
- big wall jumping.
- spunky chicks + awesome scenery.
- rescues gone wrong.
- frap-ins galore.
- novelty jumps (cable cars, train bridges, tandems, cutaways, wads, etc).
- some short stories on various aspects of the sport.
- big ways - world record 11 way and 24 way jumps.
- other genuine world records include longest BASE skysurfs, a whole host of lowest records including, lowest single and double gainers, lowest freefall tandem, lowest terminal opening, etc(these are unofficial - Guiness does not want to encourage this sort of behaviour!!!!, but we did them anyway!!!!).

Tape is about 60 minutes long. It will be shown at Bridge Day and at Perris DZ in October.
Orders will be possible over the internet, email, phone, fax, etc.

Obviously Portland BASE jumpers have a few more "stringent" requirements to earn their wings....

Hey, you don't have to be from Portland to get shot. DW will shoot anyone who gives him the opportunity. I speak from experience. (I had enough neurons to not choose the 12 gauge.) He'll even take a polaroid of where he shot you and autograph the photo. (extra $) Every third Tuesday he'll shoot 2 of ya for the price of one. (only one photo with this package though.)
So come on down and be shot by the Base God!
