How much does hot or cold air effect your openings? This is my fist real summer in the sport and i noticed that by the weather some days i prefere not to go so low due hot and moistur air.Due long openings..

Or is it my brain that goes farting again whith the fact that it thinks i get longer openings on really hot days(note:i only jump slider off)?

Hot air is less dense than cold air. Same thing with humidity... humid air is less dense than non-humid air.

So hot, humid air (altitudes being equal) will most likely slow down your openings.

cheers,i wasnt sure if i had got it right.

any idea how much diff this does? is it just teoreticly that you will get a longer opening or should you be abel to feel it aswell?(i mean is this somthing peope on the ground might could notice,or do we talk a few ft diff?)
I know it aint so much but while taking good delays, you might find yourself abit lower on thouse hot days compared to a "normal"day..

Im wondering as i noticed that i felt that i got longer delays and at the same time softer openings,at the same delays from same alti.I started to wonder if all the slider off jumps on my canopy really eat that much of an canopy, but one "summer-chilly-day" i had 2 hard openings, and rembered that hot air could do a diff. Now i just wonder on how much diff it can make..Not that i think my canopy is worn out(under 200jumps 0waterlandings only a few tree hits ,no real damegede to the canopy).

perhaps i should just go out jump more instead of rambeling here
