Vision velcro

I have a Vision due velcro replacement. And I've read several posts maybe here or there about how the Vision has "burly", or real "grabby" velcro, possibly more so than on other velcro containers. Is this in fact true? Did Gravity use different velcro than others? Was, or is it a characteristic of the rig's design? Or is this simply false, and is just other's opinions.

Is there a special kind of velcro that needs to be installed on BASE rigs? If so, which kind, and can it be ordered through, say, ParaGear or a similar skydive gear dealer?

Also, does anyone know how I can get ahold of a spare shrivel flap for a Vision?

The velcro used on BASE rigs is pretty much "standard" velcro. But there are several varieties of "standard" velcro, so you need to look around.

You ought to be able to order it from 3M, at least I know that a couple BASE manufacturers get it from them. Have a look at their web site.
