    34 meter/102 ft. TARD (video)

Hey ...finaly got something put together on Spence's. Day blazing,
    Rail Bailing, TARD.
Got it compressed down to ,"850 kb 22 seconds long", so its a easy
fast down load. Even if your Sucking Off the phone-Line it will only
    take about 5 Min.
    Spence say's...... " Hey , sub-100's, No Problemo."

Nice! Very well done... both the jump and the video. The fact that Ray assembled and uploaded a video of the jump is as astounding as the jump itself. Spence did OK, too, I guess.

I can't believe someone ever went for a *normal* jump there. Oops!

Ray/Spence, what canopy were you using in the video?

Fox 245 v-tec/no valves, loaded 0.70, brakes stowed, no tailgate, rear riser 'flare', variable headwind of 2 - 5 mph.

The wind was the biggest concern for a couple of reasons.
    1) Distortion of the 'pack' at launch...re: asymetric inflation, lineover or off heading.
    2) Lack of forward drive for decent flare/PLF.

I could have held onto the pack a fraction of a second longer to pressurise things better. Opening would have been a little smoother and faster. Otherwise went as planned.

My approach to low altitude, be it S/L, dbag, PCA, FF.....as long as you get bottom skin pressurisation, you are not going to die...

...however degree of injury may vary

I'll be there this weekend, doing the "on-ramp". The difference between Spence and I, amongst many, many other things, is that I'm not freefalling it.

I remember doing a p/a over water from the same altitude five years ago, just to see how much canopy time we would get. We did conclude we'd never dare to attemt the same jump over anything but water (and I still wouldn't)... I'm just amazed by the skills and how the jump is conducted. You even make it look easy
