Can anyone tell me if jumps in xxxxxxx are still legal? We were there a few days ago and were told by the man from the trailer park that now the carabinieri are taking down license plate numbers and giving jumpers a hard time.
Thanks,

GENIUS!!! GENIUS!!! GENIUS!!!
Desert1, you must be a Genius!!!!!!
To put the name of a site in clear: very smart idea!!!!!!!!
And to put the name of a site that perhaps has become hot is not a very smart idea, it is an idea just come out off the mind of a GENIUS!!!!
Thank you very much indeed!!!!
But.... ....ah.... ....yes.... you must be a foreigner, so you don't give a fu(k about putting a name of a site in clear, because who is gointo to have trouble are the locals, not anybody else!!!
Thanks again, genius!!!!!!

No worries, you are forgiven.
> I had no idea it was such a sensitive place
Yes, it is indeed, because of the local relationships with locals and authorities, and because (we believe) it is an advanced BASE site, and in latest times more and more BASE jumpers WITHOUT the necessary experience show up there and jump. Too bad that. So, the less anybody mentions it (in clear), the less jumpers (want to) show up.
Next time, if you or any other BASE jumper wants to enquire about an Italian BASE site, think about the real need of mentioning its name in clear, or rather to describe it, even vaguely. We have so few BASE sites here that even by a rough description, any Italian BASE jumper can understand what you refer to and give you an answer, possibly in private.
