SLIM... a BASE Life.... produced : Fast Al Scott & Ash Brennan

He was a Australian Giant and a... Man Among BASE Jumpers.
Slim was a hell of a nice guy and Real well known by all BASE jumpers
to say the least. This short film captures perfectly... His Energy, Fun Loving
Attitude and Charisma he had for every jump that he did.... This Film Captures That.
If you ever did a jump with him...You Know What I mean....FUN.

I got this Primo MPEG from, Fast Al.. two nights ago.
The film of... Slim a BASE Life, also won... The Spinach film festival.
    also:
This film short will be a small segment in the next... ABA, DVD.
This should get released this Friday. and For Sale.
Al Says.. "It will be spectacular."..... (shameless plug)
    ...............................

    * * OK, here's the skinny on the deal.....Fast Al's exact words were.....
..."Give Out as many copies as you like... I Want It Shown Around."

So this is what I am doing. I bought a -Very LARGE- Bulk pack of CD's
and If you dont have this CD...All You need to do is......
Send me a... Self Addressed and *Postage paid* / CD envelope.
and If you cant afford a stamp that is cool also... just send address.

    send to:

    Ray Losli
    P.O. box 804
    Hillsboro, Oregon, 97123
    United States
    ........................................

Along with all of you who jumped with Slim. He holds a fond memory to
Me and DJ here in Portland. I meet Slim for the first time on this month in 1998.
I had 6 BASE jumps. DJ had zero but just bought his first Rig.. Slim had 96 BASE
    jumps.
I don't know how many BASE jumps that DJ did in the first 12 months of jumping
with this Aussey but I knocked out over 140 jumps with him the first year.
Fast Al, also taught by Slim, came up for the... Slim's crash course in BASE.

So.... I am BURNING..(this mpeg)..FREE.. for all... till the Large box is empty.

    Hey Ray,

How big is the file? Could it be uploaded to skydivingmovies.com? If it is too big (several hundred megabytes) perhaps someone could compress it (to WMV for example) and upload it?

    Yo Ray-

I always read too much into someone's e-mail addy. What's up with "yoda99"? Did Yoda smoke 99 fatties before he became wise or what?

Party on my friend. Hope to see you on some funky exit point soon.

    Baxter.

OK the properties of the MPEG is...65.1 MG
The only way I can send it would be to Compress it down to about VHS quality.
on WMV but That would probably suck for quality.

Anyone else that has or gets the CD can Throw it over to skydiveingmovies.com

65 MB is pretty acceptable for skydivingmovies.com in these days of ADSL and cable modems (thanks to the generosity of Matt Crocker if anyone would like to buy him a jump).

Ok, the next challenge is to get Ray to upload it! Are you bandwidth impaired Ray?!

If so, first person to upload it saves Ray a lot of burning and posting!

    >>Slim was one of those guys I'd hope to meet someday, but who, like Dwain and Fumio, I never will. And yet, it seems like a little peice of Slim came through in this video, he looks like about the funnest person on earth to jump with (those CotS jumps were hilarious!). The ending is powerful, especially the clips of his last flight. All in all a spectacular video, and a truly fitting tribute to a remarkable human being. A big thanks to the Aussie crew for putting it out there and a big thanks to Ray for getting it to me (I owe you one buddy! )
