Is Lauterbrunnen still Legal ? Anyone Going?

I'm thinking about checking out Lauterbrunnen for the first two weeks of august. Does anybody have the lowdown for that area? I read they don't like us at jungfrau, so I'm reading that the Happy Valley Hostel is the way, or is there someting better? So does anybody know is it still legal? Do I need to clear it with any association out there? I'm going alone so is it a good possibility that I'll meet some other jumpers that I can hang with and show me the exit points? And finally, is anybody headed that way and wanna split on a place to stay out there?

Was legal 2-months ago, and the feedback from friends is that they were still jumping there less than 3-weeks ago. Out of courtesy it may pay to avoid the waterfall which is quite "high profile."

Valley Hostel is a great place to stay. Martha and Alfred "run a tight ship" but are incredibly nice.

LB is a real gem. With a bit of respect and intergration with the locals its likely it will stay legal (most of the local businesses are very supportive).
