if you calssify a TARD as both a BASE jump and a freefall, then there is video of one from 34M.

    but lets see your video!

    BTW 42M is about 138ft

    Check out: http://www.basewiki.com/wiki/pmwiki.php/Other/Records

Lowest Freefall over Hard Ground The current rumor is that a guy called Jim Bruckhauser jumped from 110 feet (33.528 metres) with a very big pilot chute and someting like an 18′ pulled-down apex round. Apparently it’s on record on film, but BASE WIKI is awaiting confirmation of this incredible feat.

In 1981/2 I saw pictures of this taken by Carl.

I saw an article claiming a guy did a 95 foot BASE jump in Mexico from a statue, which was touted as a world record. Not sure who the guy was...

I think he's on about Felix Baumgartner, he jumped from the hand of the Christo Redentor (Christ Statue) in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 1999, It's 29m/95ft

There's details in the news archive on www.felixbaumgartner.com

About 20m is the record. Could have been 23m. It was hard to tell. 9th of June 2006. Germany. It was a project 7yrs in the making. Don't try this at home.
    take care,
