Hi, I am currnelty writing a research project into BASE Jumping and was wondering if anyone would like to voice any of their opinions.

I would like to know the reasons why many of you participate in BASE Jumping in particular?

Any Assistance would be very much appreciated

Because of the adrenaline rush for the main part. It is so huge, so dramatic, it literally will make your hair stand on end. When you skydive, you transition from, say 70mph forward to 120 mph down. When you make a BASE jump, you start at nothing. The feeling is so awesome, and the visuals are just unreal. There is also the thrill of completing something successfully that is very, very difficult and extremely dangerous, it's a great feeling.

NOT FOR THE ADRENALINE RUSH FOR THE MAIN PART!

Its something so personal there is no single person that will explain exactly why people BASE jump..

I BASE jump for something I cant ever explain in words, the adrenaline rush is just an incidental result of something I do for other more important reasons.... I personally never trust a BASE jumper that says "I do it for the rush", thats just too pepsi max for my tastes.
