I've jumped w/ 20+ kts (I didn't say it was a good idea) on a 300' A, but I would say that your opening would be fine even in higher winds (but not landing). You really have to watch body position, as having your canopy brush against you during extraction is pretty f-ing scary. The point at which it becomes a real problem is far far past what jump limits should be, even on a freestander like above. Just think about last time you pulled right out the door skydiving.....it will open fine as long as your body isn't in the way. If it's on-heading, it will take longer to inflate and you'll have a strong surge forward, so pull high. Again w/ a strong tail wind there's a good chance the canopy will brush against you as it's pulled out if you are head high at all. You know what, just don't jump in high winds. How about this . . . over 5 kts just stay home. It's not worth it, and if it's not a freestander and has wires, don't even think about jumping with a stong tailwind (at opening height)--if it shifts at all you're f-ed. On a 1 sec delay you have to use every inch of altitude to land, winds are bad.
That is my experience at least hope it helps. Please don't jump in high winds.

I've jumped my Raven in a 25 kt tailwind from 320. remember, they want to open. just turn around real quick and enjoy the breeze in your face as you back it into the landing area...........

I also SL it in a 15kt crosswind from 190... not such a good idea, she wouldn't fly till 30' from the ground and I was over a 25' tree.

PS: I'm a****ing idiot and hope no one thinks it's ok to do this... but it does work
