Poll: Regular forum visitors

I've seen a few people saying they want to get this forum more active. I am a new member here, but I check it a lot through out the day and there are rarely posts here.

This is a poll to see how many people check this forum daily, but I don't see an option to setup the poll. I'm thinking it might come up after I click submit new thread, but in case it doesn't, the options I was going to use are

Do you check this forum:
1. More than once a day
2. Once a day
3. Once every few days
4. Once a week
5. Less than once a week

I guess, the small amount of people rather than checking the forums should post here, this way the responses and more posting increases.

I would certainly love to see BLiNC back up and running, as I started here in my BASE journey around 6 years ago, so I have always had a soft spot for it.

So 33 people (that were willing to answer the poll) check this site atleast once a week.

I thought it was kind of odd how much the atleast once a day jumped in the past few days.

I'm going to keep bumping this every once in a while for a month. If we don't have atleast 100, maybe blinc needs better advertising or something.

If all post on dz.com or both places,people will take dz.com as they gets more traffic there...

If people started to post only here people would respond here..

But its double moral as we all want quick answers or respond,which we right now gets at dz.com.. so thats why people keep posting there..

What would help is posting a subject and teaser on dz.com, with a link to BLiNC....

I dunno Mick i tryed that but what my experience were were that people rather wanted to keep one tread so they simply just posted to one forum..

But its a start for sure.

This is just a suggestion and I don't know how hard it would be. But Calvin and some others have an interest in Para-gliding. How about starting a Para-Gliding sub-forum??

I am not a fan of mixed sports forums. I say keep it seperate from BLiNC. BLiNC should be pure BASE and nothing else.

Agreed. Another thing that has always annoyed me about dropzone is that it treats Base like it's a tiny part of skydiving, contained within a skydiving website in its own little prison zone, tucked away in a back corner, controlled by a skydiver.

Base is important enough for its very own website. Base loves its Mama, skydiving, but its all grown up now, and ready to go out and drink. And vote. And be out on its own...away from family members who wont let it grow up.
