Sick BASE videos are what motivate/has motivated me to BASE jump??

Just wondering if people's exposure to the current flood of "sick" Base footage on the market has fueled their desire to get into BASE quickly. Especially since these videos hardly ever show the consequences of things that go wrong. Or what the aftermath is like 5-10 years down the road.

Apart from the small amount of BASE that appeared on Crosswind (I think thats what its called) I actually did not see any BASE videos until I had started....

100% that is why I got into it. I remember downloading clips of BASE and showing them to my mom soon after I got into skydiving. The trailer for 1st BASE comes to mind.

I wanted to get in to BASE before I saw any BASE video, but seeing video definitely fueled my inpatience/desire.
