Hi,
I'm a moderately experienced jumper with 90-jumps to my name, just have to say that to put your fears to rest before I continue.
I haven't jumped for a few years, since I last lived in the UK actually (I'm Irish). I'm looking to make a short, fair film about the BASE lifestyle as part of a 2-month course in Documentary film in London, and was wondering if anyone in the city or surrounds would be interested in taking part. It would mostly comprise interviews, with some fly on the wall type footage, and of course, a little jump footage.
Should the film turn out well I will be looking to sell it, so that's something to bear in mind if you contact me. Of course I'm not interested in site or people burning, my previous involvement in the sport should be ample confirmation of that, just a genuine picture of what the lifestyle and people are really like.
I regard my BASE jumping years as some of the best fun I've ever had and would be keen to convey why through todays active community to try and get your average joe to understand a bit better.
Contact me at: irishbase@yahoo.co.uk
Cheers,
Feargus.
