Mt.Brento and Tom Aiello? Anbody know the story?

Does anybody know the real story about Tom Aiello and the Mt. Brento talus landing?

I heard he refused help and/or advice about jumping there from the locals and got messed up.

The person who told me hated Tom. And continued on about a bunch of other "Tom" stories, at least from his "early day's'.

So I was just curious if anybody knew of an un-biased version of the story.
And if you are biased against Tom: would just like to here the story in the most objective and straight forward way.

Yes , I suppose straight from the horse's mouth, as they say. But I was hoping for a unbiased version, I highly doubt Tom would give me that.

The guy really made Tom out to be a Gigantic Douche, I just figured , maybe, oh maybe it wasn't as bad as he was saying is all.

I suppose this was a pointless post.
