Anyone missing a Squirrel Suit? (sorry, I'm a parag pilot - don't know what these things are actually called)...
A friend of mine is a Lieutenant with the Portland Oregon Police. In a recent arrest they recovered, among other things, what he described as "one of those flying suits." From what he told me, sounds like a Squirrel Suit (or whatever name those go by). He said it had a parachute pack on the front, and the "wing" fabric that goes down the arms and legs. They would like to find the rightful owner and have them come claim it. Any help passing this on would be appreciated. Owner will have to provide identifying details or other proof of ownership. Contact Lieutenant Pat Walsh, Bureau of Police, Portland - 503-823-0097 email pwa...@portlandpolice.org Thanks for your help! Joe Stermitz Cascade Paragliding Club |

Thanks for the post.
I'll email with the LT about where to find the serial numbers and tracking down the owner through the manufacturer records. -

After posting the original report I searched and found entry from a guest post, signed by "Thomas" indicating details about a stolen base rig in PDX. Hoping that person sees the message. They logged post as "guest" vs signing in, so no way to email direct that I can see. We'll see what transpires.
Thanks for your help. |
