adrianyh, you should listen to what Abbie is saying, he is telling the truth like he always does. Abbie lives in Twin Falls and knows about the bullshit that Tom's pulled that you obviously don't know about. From what I hear several times a year that I'm there jumping, Tom is disliked by many Twin Falls locals.

From my own personal experience with Tom one thing I can say for sure is that Tom Aiello is a bold face liar.

He's pointing out the truth about Tom Aiello; the guy is a lie and a fake. He lacks impartiality as a moderator (mediator), is inconsistent with the application of his rules, and holds his friends and buddies to an entirely different standard of conduct than he does non supporters and the general population. Doggishly desperate for attention, Aiello suffers from extensive emotional problems which are quite evident if you have read "the complete works of Aiello" on Blinc and dropzone. Fortunately for Aiello the turnover rate in Base is so high that very few are aware of Aiello's past; new people assume aiellos status in the sport and the community, and Aiello is pleased to allow people to believe in his greatness. We dont care here of course because Aiello has been removed from the list of moderators, and can now only pursue his ego on the Tom Aiello Channel.

He says similar stuff to me...honestly I think he's just fishing for someone who will take him up on the offer/invite. Maybe that's where the bad blood is with him and TA? Abbie went fishing and got a "bite" an afterwards realized he didn't like the taste it left in his mouth.

hola everyone- i've been away from my computer and was unable to respond to your comments. you guys could be right. i don't know tom well enough to be defending him. I just finished watching a History Channel special about BASE Jumping at the Perrine. Tom's camp is now known on National Television, and "Death Camp". Good fucking tag-line to blast to masses.

Not to mention, it sounds pretty fucking stupid to tell the media that you make your students write a letter to your family that you died on the jump you are about to make.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, this is not the sort-of publicity you should give to the media. You are throwing jet fuel on a fire by doing that. You sure the fuck are not helping the sport. NOBODY that tries to glorify sensationalism to the media is helping the sport, only their ego for a brief time.
