Wondering what most people have on their rings for rings. Small or large. And why you got that size (what's the benefit in your mind).

I'm not sure what you are saying about type 8 risers with mini rings? AFAIK, the only risers that have released unintentionally were large ring. Twice in the same day, and obviously only one released. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

Jump the rings you prefer. Either work fine. Jump with no rings if you have no need for cutting away.

It was the webbing holding attaching the small ring IIRC. No evidence of improperly attached risers.
